TRX-7/16-20 Torque Screwdriver for Hardline Installations
Improper torque when installing RPDs and rSwitches can cause RF leaks, water leaks, and damage to modules from over-heating. The new Cable Prep Torque Screwdriver (TRX-7/16-20) makes all of this avoidable. Unlike other screwdrivers that attempt to address this type of application, this screwdriver will never exceed the specified torque (18 in/lbs for this application), even if a technician disregards or cannot hear the audible click emitted when the tool achieves the specified torque value. After the proper threshold is reached, the tool begins to spin freely, exerting zero force.
